vallat-lesalluesYESSSSSSS !! Against all odds (we think) we sold our little apartment in the French Alps. We had it for almost 17 years and we LOVED our times living there. And quite frankly, our last trip to the region to see the ‘notaire’ DID have some emotional moments. Like saying farewell to a good and longtime friend. But our new place in Italy is our new destiny and equally nice to stay in. Or actually, better ! Albeit it quite different.

We traded the majestic mountain view for rolling hills, and we traded the almost non-existent contacts with the French locals for a warm and welcoming community in Umbria. We think we made a good swap!
