This particular model is another master piece of our designated aircraft designer Simon Smeiman, and built after an existing and still flying specimen. I traveled to Florida twice to visit the wonderful aircraft museum and aviation events organization of Kermit Weeks; Fantasy of Flight. That’s where I took all the photos for this bird, sat in it, crawled underneath and talked to the pilot.

Simon made these two autogyro models to experiment with helicopter files in FSX. They are offered ‘as-is’ and just for fun. The RAF 2000 and the Magni M24 Orion are a fun addition to your FSX installation  !

This Hudson ‘Package’ is one of our SPECIALS again. And we kept the title ‘short’ for reasons of practicality, but actually this is an entire set of aircraft, both military and civilian, because it not only contains ALL the Hudson models from Mk I to Mk VI, The A28 an A-29 and the American PBO, but also includes the Lockheed Model 14 Super Electra and the Lockheed Model 18-56 Lodestar.

    Lockheed Hudson Expansion Pack

This aircraft is totally new. The fuselage is longer than that of the Hudson and the tailplane is raised above the fuselage. The main wing surface is also a bit larger than that of the Hudson resulting in a different-looking wing profile. The aircraft has no armament and was mainly used as transport during and after WWII. The interior of this aircraft is in many respects similar to that of the Hudson.

The installation of these new aircraft into FSX will be into separate folders but you must have the original GFA LH HUDSON packages Parts 1 to 4 installed to use the new aircraft.

The Cessna T-50 (Cessna’s official name) is a five-seat light transporter manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company in 1939 for the civilian market.  While the wings and tail unit were wood, the fuselage was a welded steel-tube design with fabric over wooden skinning. It featured a unique electrically actuated retractable main landing gear. The main wheels retract half-way into the nacelles. This way the aircraft can do an emergency “belly landing” with minimum damage. The wing trailing-edge flaps are also electrically actuated. The fixed tailwheel is non-steerable and full-swiveling but fitted with a tail wheel lock.
