A book of the Landcraft Series (Paperback)
By Robert Jackson

I read this excellent book by Robert Jackson last night. Taught me a lot about the history of the half-track that I didn’t know. Like all of these books there is a part with the actual history of the development of the vehicle(s), followed by a number of very detailed color drawings. Then the center part of the book discusses the various scale model kits available. In various scales and quality and price levels, too. There are interesting comments to the various kits, helping us modelers to decide on which ones to look for…..

Some excellent photos of models built by very skillful modelers complete this part. And then there’s the part f the book that discusses the actual models produced and their use in service.
There are quite a few rather exotic models shown, some of which never passed the eperimental stage.

Throughout the book there are excellent photographs of the various models and actions they were involved in. After reading it and leafing a few times through the scale models depicted, I am now searching the internet for a model to buy in future and build one myself.

And then things all went wrong all of a sudden…… I sent my bi-annual poo test in an envelope, thinking nothing of it, as always.
