Mk 19 Electrics
« on: February 19, 2015, 07:10:47 PM »
Firstly - I'm well pleased with Annie having bought it after reading the Battle of the Ansons review comparing this version with the A2A one.

It's so good I read the manual!

I have one question regarding the Mk 19 which seems not to be covered.

After I start the engines the generator warning lights come on and stay on even though the generators are switched on and the amp meter to the right shows current flow (this goes to zero when the generator is switched off). Is this a fault or have I not flicked a switch somewhere?  ;)

Also starboard generator switch appears to be labelled as "Cabin Lights".

Hi John, thanks for the kudos.

I am by no mean the programing expert that Simon is, so I can not give you a p[roper reply. I will have to ask Simon - who unfortunately is not able to read the forums himself due to not having sufficient internet access down in Africa. Will get back to you as soon as I hear from him !

Enjoy your weekend,
Francois

Hi John, I got a first reply from Simon, shown below:

"...... Hi Francois,
I checked and the generator lights and amps meter functions like that in the FSX default aircraft equipped with radial engines.
Then yes the gentleman is correct regarding the lights label!  oops!...I will also update the relevant texture to correct this.
Kind regards
Simon.... ".

So I guess it may be a fault, but then it is a fault of FSX currently...... I still have to send him your other remarks..... somehow that mal didn't go out ! Sorry !

Kind regards,
Francois

Thanks Francois, not sure why I haven't noticed that elsewhere, but it's good to have a reply.  Cheers.
