The roof’s leaking…..

When it rains it pours, they say.
This morning I woke up at 7 and heared a strange noise. Sounded like dripping water…. but there is nothing ABOVE our first floor that could possibly drip….. is there !!??

When I stepped out of bed and into a cold puddle of water in the carpet….. I knew I was wrong about that !! Yikes ! And I already felt a splitting headache… this made it worse πŸ™

What happened is that with the storm last night a lot of very fine snow crystals have lodged underneath the panes/tiles (?) on the roof. And now it is melting…… over the entire lenght of the roof the water is dripping in ! Swell !!

The one good thing perhaps is that the mice drowned ???? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ He, a guy can dream, can’t he? πŸ˜‰

Ah.. after al the animosity on the forums and my editorial on simFlight, sure enough I received a pissy e-mail from young Matt Johnson, one of Tom Allensworth most loyal lackeys, accusing ME of not being gentlemanly. ROFLMAO !!!
Too hilarious to comment on really, after all they’ve done to try and destroy my business and make me look bad to the flightsim community. And THAT after all I’ve done for THEM when still at Avsim.
Oh well….. evil will punish itself is the saying here.

I just feel sorry for some of the ‘good’ people visiting Avsim, believing that what they read is true… and worse; that it is all there is to flightsimming.

There is hope though, since many well-known people in the FS community, developers and even guys of the FS development team in Redmond, know better and told me so. That is comforting and it means there is still hope for some πŸ˜‰

Today I will try and start doing the accounting and tax papers for 2004… and then for 2005. Yes, I am hopelessly behind because of all what happened this year. Need to catch up FAST!

Hmmmm.. perhaps I should make a post here with my New Year’s Resolutions…. or better: plans on activities. Why not? I’ll think about it.. still have a few hours untill the champagne ! πŸ™‚

  1. A very Happy New Year, François and Nina!

I’m confident you’ll have the leak repaired, that all your future problems will be little ones and that 2006 will go on record as the best yet for a very wonderful, fair, and giving person.

  2. Thanks Mike, you are too kind :-))
